The Charlotte Youth Ballet enjoys a rich tradition of enhancing the cultural life of the Charlotte community with the only youth-based performing ballet company in the region.  For over a quarter of a century, the CYB has proudly produced professional-quality Nutcracker and storybook ballets that merges a principal cast of professional international dancers and local students of ballet.

Our productions are designed to be accessible and affordable to a diverse audience with a particular focus on families in an effort to expand the reach of this centuries old art form and to foster a lifelong appreciation for ballet.

Corporate funding sustains a variety of CYB outreach programs, including the following:

• Underwriting tickets and transportation for at-risk school children

• Scholarships for dancer participation

• Special events for Girl Scouts

• Performances at community festivals

• Offset costs (artistic, technical, administrative, etc) of
staging professional-quality productions, allowing us to keep
tickets costs and our dancer fees to a minimum

The Charlotte Youth Ballet, a nonprofit and tax-exempt 501(c)(3) arts organization, enjoys the support and volunteer efforts of many benefactors including dancers’ families, patrons, charitable and corporate donors.

CYB is also a proud Cultural Partner of the Arts and Science Council. 

Corporate sponsorship has four levels of giving and includes the following benefits:

Understudy Circle                   Up to $499

• 2 complimentary tickets to each production for donations over $250
• Acknowledgement in all production programs and CYB website

 

Dancers’ Circle                       $500 to $999

• 8 complimentary tickets to each production
• Quarter-page acknowledgement in all production programs
• Logo on CYB website

 

Choreographers’ Circle           $1,000 to $2,999

• 12 complimentary tickets to each production
• Half-page acknowledgment in all production programs
• Logo on CYB website

 

Directors’ Circle                      $3,000+

• 16 complimentary tickets to each production
• Full-page acknowledgement in all production programs
• Large logo, with link to corporate website (if desired) on CYB website
